Lucca, Italy — 30 september 2019

This is the first day of another trip. We started at SFO on Sunday the 29th, flew to Frankfort and then Florence, and we’re now in Lucca. We chose to spend a few days here to get into the time zone before the rest of the adventure. We’ve been in Lucca twice before; we like its storefronts and its complete city wall.

I have many photos of stores in Lucca, with lovely art-nouveau decoration. This one is pretty typical but relatively non-flamboyant:
