No news in this post, just some more photos with a feel for the old part of Lausanne.

Fountains are always a fun source of faces. This one has a lion with a pipe in its mouth, ending with sort of a fishy face. Nice eyes.
The rooftop of the Hôtel de Ville isn’t particularly remarkable. But I love gargoyles, and there are two here that deserve extra mention. The light was right for one of them.



When I posted that sign the other day, I didn’t realize that St. Francis frequented the store. In fact, the whole street (the steep Rue St. François) seems to have been his shopping mall, as shown (hard to see) by all of his signs below.

Finally, here’s a little trompe- l’œil on the floor of a small shopping galleria.
No, it isn’t corrugated.
