This is an exercise in self-education. I’ve used Blogger for a while, but it seems no longer to be available, so I need something new, and WordPress seems to serve my purposes.

I like to write about books and traveling.  This is a cheap 21st-century way of sending lots of postcards. As much as possible, I want my blog to be readable without login or other encumbrances, and I don’t link it to any social media. This may make it hard for you to add a comment; sorry.
